Coach Eric Farley

Assistant Varsity Coach

Coach Eric Farley is a former all-Marion County and North-South All-Star from Franklin Central High School. He played collegiately at Indiana University under legendary coach Bob Morgan, earning two letters during his time there.

Over the past 12 years, Coach Farley has coached at the youth level and spent the last seven years leading high-level competitive travel baseball teams, consistently ranking among the top in the state of Indiana. He’s now entering his fourth season as an assistant varsity coach at Plainfield High School, where his primary focus is on catching instruction.

In addition, he has provided individual catching instruction for over a decade, helping multiple players move on to the collegiate level. He also runs the Farley Catching Academy, an eight-week camp focusing on catching fundamentals for ages 9 to 14, which he’s been running for the past five years.

Coach Willie Glen

Assistant Varsity Coach

Plainfield alum Willie Glen returns for his fourth season as a varsity assistant coach. After graduating in 1996 alongside JV Red Head Coach Steve Fuson, Glen continued his playing career at the University of Evansville, then spent 12 years as a professional player and coach.

While at UE, Glen set numerous single season and career records on the mound and became the first pitcher in Missouri Valley Conference history with at least 20 wins and 20 saves. A 3 time academic all conference player, he was also named to the 1998 conference tournament team, first team all MVC in 2000, and the Missouri Valley Conference All-Centennial Team in 2007. Glen was inducted into the UE Athletic’s Hall of Fame in 2017. 

Undrafted out of Evansville, Glen spent time with multiple major league organizations and had a career record of 74-45, advancing as high as AAA. The hurler logged more than 1,100 innings in almost 300 games and was part of 3 championship teams. The 4 time all-star and 2 time league pitcher of the year spent 10 years toeing the slab before transitioning to the coaching side with the Marlins and Pirates organizations, where he oversaw multiple future MLB arms and one league champion pitching staff. 

Coach Noah Lane

JV White Head Coach

Coach Noah Lane is a 2017 graduate of Plainfield High School, where he was a member of some of the program’s most successful teams in recent history. During the 2015 and 2016 seasons, Lane helped lead the Quakers to a combined 35–20 record, a Hendricks County Tournament championship, and back-to-back Mid-State Conference runner-up finishes. He pitched and played in the outfield before continuing his baseball career at Wabash College as a pitcher.

Coach Lane began his coaching career at Plainfield High School in 2018, joining the varsity staff as an assistant coach. Over five seasons in that role, he assisted in developing consistently strong pitching staffs, helping guide the program to sub-3.00 team ERAs during the 2018, 2019, and 2021 seasons. After a year away from high school coaching in 2023, Lane returned to the Plainfield staff for the 2024 season and currently serves as the JV White (freshman) Head Coach.

In addition to his work at Plainfield High School, Lane has gained valuable experience coaching travel baseball throughout the area. His coaching resume includes time with Plainfield Havoc and Canes Indiana at the high school level, as well as Red Pride at the middle school level.
